COY Laboratory Products, a well known supplier of glove boxes for life science research, provides a solution to the need to perform tissue culture and imaging in the same controlled environment (CO₂, O₂, temperature, and humidity).

This is done by placing your microscope in a controlled glove box that contains both a workspace for cell handling and a Humidified Incubation Box, a separate cabinet in the glove box. The microscope sits outside of the Incubation Box yet inside the glove box in a non-condensing environment with the oculars readily accessible through a specially designed microscope viewport that fits into the wall of the glove box.

Any tubing or cords can be easily brought through the glove box walls and sealed in place using feed-thru adapters
